I saw Ashley speak at an NTEN conference and it was amazing. I got the book immediately after and enjoyed it so much. I've been gifting and lending it ever since.

I would love to hear what it is that they don't like. I'm interested in reading it and reviews are wildly different.

DEFINITELY cult horror. It cuts way too close to home! A Marriage at Sea is edgy, but you know how it ends. You feel the emotions of the couple, both on the boat and after rescue. I have nightmares about Wake Up and Open Your Eyes. Thanks to @claymcleod.bsky.social 😱🖤😱 It's a terrifying masterpiece.
