Don’t like having to come here & ask, but… My cat who we’d rescued a while ago (Bast) developed pyometra before we could spay, & has to go in for urgent surgery that comes out to $1.1k range

(The actual total cost is more like almost $1.3k due to x-rays + initial consult, but the x-rays were things I could cover fine w/o being a hit to finances)

I’m 60% away from my goal. I only have a year left to finish my degree. As a black person in the world I know of the importance of having a degree & the opportunities it can grant you. I have been fighting for this dream for years. Now I just need some help getting across the finish line

An elegant looking Ottoman era man (AKA the main character of the webcomic) inside a cage of thorny roses. His neck is titled upwards and pricked deeply and bloodily by two thorns, an allusion to the vampire who killed him. A hawk with blood red eyes flies behind him.
