People think I keep myself really busy with a lot of events, and that's true.

It's also kind of the only way for you to see your friends as an adult, especially if they have a partner. Few people have time to just come over with less than 3 weeks notice.

To be clear, people getting AI art of their fursona isn't doing much harm, especially if they're mitigating harm e.g. running models at home and paying for remewable electricity. It's the corporations and people enabling them via evangelization and payment doing harm here.

Sure, because the prompt engineer spent a lot of time refining the prompt just right to get exactly their vision correct. "Coolness" has nothing to do with it, and no one should be surprised at this point at how convincing it can be. It was unethically trained and contributes real harm to the world.

So could be similar for you, in so far as a dislike of something about your body and a desire for change. As for me & my fursona, i sometimes use him as a separate character, & sometimes use him as a standin. I cannot speak for plurals' experience, but for me, it's fantasy and empathy bound together
