I've found lots of students can be surprised at how many questions they can pick up at least one mark on if they're just trying to make sure they do SOMETHING good mathematically instead of leaving them blank.
19.02.2025 18:07 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is it a general test or on a specific topic? I gave my students a short test last week on 6 topics (2 questions each); asked the ones to finish early to write an extra question on each topic which would make it a more well-rounded test. Really interesting to see what they came up with.

A basically drawn Inktober piece by me, featuring a school classroom with one person smiling and everyone else sad. Caption reads: "I dreamt I was naked at school... But I was also so amazingly rich, no-one could complain or laugh. It was GREAT."
Putting together the next installment of my monthly newsletter for Friday, including actual Life News AND a comic project which won't be announced til earlier that day. How mysterious! How coy! Best subscribe!

My specific ones include Death of a Necromancer (rural black magic) and FairyFare (urban fairy app), and MORE. Come for the high concept jokes, stay for the surprising emotion.

The best way to do this right now, if you can swing it, is to support your favourite writersβ side gigs. Grab a paid sub for their newsletter, support them on Patreon, buy their self-pubbed projects, etc.
The less they have to rely on publisher money, the more leverage they have in negotiations.
PLEASE. I edit so many fantastic authors on StoryLoom who would benefit so greatly from your reads! Happy to make recs! https://uh6g.adj.st?adj_t=11yf7ho3_11rrzl5q
