almost turned off game after RNH's hattrick, but I remembered #SeaKraken's 3rd period tendencies - and of course Schwartz delivers! so fun to watch 84-10-38 amidst the loss, exciting peek at the future 🙌

1. An actual game highlight for me was Ryan McLeod - scored the 4th short-handed goal of his career and contributed to the successful PK's all game long

Loved this sequence late in the 3rd when he keeps on the puck all the way up, and even after losing his stick managing to kick pass leading to SOG

2. JJ pulling faces and Ukko-Pekka dissociating

Vvv painful ending for #Sabres in a game that had been kinda even (albeit grindy). Just gotta move on & build on the good stuff from the last few games.

3. My reaction when they should've given puck to Utah on delayed penalty & instead scored an empty netter own goal

The beautiful game: a 25 second sequence in Sabres-Bruins OT where all 6 skaters + 1 goalie fall down, a net is dislodged, and ends poetically with a tripping penalty

Yes! That sequence right before the OT penalty was drawn felt like some sort of slow carcrash unfolding haha

1. been a fan of Zucker since I started watching NHL - was stoked he came to the Sabres, then again when he got extended for a couple years!

Brings great energy and feist, and just seems like a great guy - like this moment of apologising for poking at Korpisalo's glove, unaware the puck was covered

2. fun slice of life on the Sabres bench captured at the beginning of the 3rd period - McLeod smelling salts, Krebs bunny hops, and Malenstyn shoulder shimmys

Bit of a back-and-forth game, but an exciting OT and W for #Sabres! Nice to see the team having fun & holding their own

1. It wasn't the perfect game, but there was so much heart in the team tonight and they felt really connected all game long - this sequence between Stephenson-Tolvanen-Montour as a perfect example

2. I always love seeing fans catch pucks during the game, and how excited everyone else is for them! Happy for this fan - what a great souvenir of a great game

3. Lots of amazing saves by Grubauer tonight, but I liked this one the most - a confident, calm pluck of the puck out of mid-air

1. Loved this cute moment Jeff Skinner had with former linemate Tage where they paused to lovingly touch each other's sticks

2. the espn announcers were really just going for any kind of content during the zamboni door fix delay haha

enjoyed hearing this gem that I hadn't noticed til now - that Lindy Ruff wears black/blue shirts at home to match the players!

3. UPL's bday was on the 9th - so great to see the team gifting him with some incredible defence, along with his own amazing saves - like in this PK late in the 3rd

Love the Sabres bsky feed tonight for not only updating me on the almost-comeback in Montreal, but also what my primary school friend Cheree has been up to!

Seems like she's killing it, and all with a kiwi accent still 🙌

enjoyed this FO win by Ryan McLeod late in the 1st, which led to his short-handed goal + added to the team's FO win tally of 12-1 at that point

glad I knew outcome of today's #Sabres game before I watched the replay! don't think I'd have survived watching the last few min live 💀

love them for keeping a 4-1 lead nerve-wracking, and happy UPL & team got the win
