He wasn’t the Vishous I remembered, but he equally wasn’t in the kind of shape some of the others were in. I backed up and settled my fingertips on the door handle.
“I’ll see you soon.”
I frowned, I hadn’t heard him speak in all the time I’d been coming here. +

One of the few people I’d actually seen scare Vishous. When we finally surrendered, when the Brothers were split up to ensure they couldn’t keep a rebellion going, that had been a day that was burned into all our memories.
