Just wanted to let you know I'm admitted to the hospital and stable-ish. They're gonna keep me until I'm fully stable but already improving

Beta blockers are WITCHCRAFT

They admitted me to the hospital and are doing IV and beta blockers until they're sure I'm stable and the first dose (done via IV) dropped my hr by 30 within 2 min 😮

Went back up after but not as high as before, so hoping I'll improve a lot in the next 24hrs~

Finished PWYW/speed rig 👀

It came out really great esp for only 6 hours

Can't wait to do more of these~

The ECG has already been ordered, and I don't drink caffeine + have been on bed rest the last few weeks since this started 💕

During export make sure it's exported as version 5.0 - version 5.3 isn't supported by VTS yet

When you go to export for runtime it's one of the options in the popup window~

Im unfortunately disabled + poor, and while I've always qualified for govt health insurance I've had plenty of years where they just... Took me off it and then ignored my reapplication

So between a lot of years of no insurance and a lot of doctors going "you just have anxiety" it's been rough 💀

Respectfully you don't know my medical history nor the cause of this current issue

Surgery is dangerous for me as are sedatives and there are significantly safer options for me to try first

ER isn't really a viable solution atm but I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow 💕

Yeah im 99% certain it's POTS and treating it as such (increased hydration + salt) helped me go from resting 120 to resting 85 over the past year

But I got put on prednisone a few weeks ago and even tho I've been off it, hr still isn't going down so... Seems like more intervention is needed 😮‍💨

Oh God I hope not. Really hope that meds + IV treatment are sufficient, I have a really bad time with anesthesia x.x

It really is so scary looking at the 170 and being like "I don't think it's supposed to do that" 💀

Glad you're doing better now. And we *do* know what's going on (POTS) but I don't have a formal dx yet

But I'm seeing a POTS specialist in 2 weeks, and my new primary care tomorrow and she knows a lot about POTS so hopefully she can help until the cardio appt

Unfortunately the cardiologist is in 2 weeks

But I've had this issue for 20 years and can confidently say if my primary will prescribe me IV therapy I should be fine

I did some elective IV and it brought it down some (before it went back up) but I don't have the funds to get the amount I need 🫠

getting the flu/COVID bc nobody masks, just to be sent home and told to "not drink caffeine" and "drink more water" would cause way more harm than waiting until Tuesday =/
