I love wandering through Old Edgebrook and its curb-less streets; it used to be much larger and continued on the east side of Central Avenue - there are/were remnants in the woods there

Pretty traditional: fettuccine (love the ribbony thickness and works well for Asian dishes) and penne rigate (fun to eat, good for cheesy baked and saucy dishes) 🍝

I do love a good, simple capellini with fresh diced tomatoes, basil, garlic, olive oil 🍅

The 109-year-old Lake Street Bridge, a double-decked bascule bridge built in 1916 and last rehabilitated in 1995, will close to all traffic 9 AM tomorrow, October 6th, until January 2028 for construction to complete various structural & system replacements and historic bridge house restorations.
