Second point where he is “technically” correct. China has lots of tariffs and they don’t have inflation. Yes, BUT the inflationary effects are seen when you start applying the tariffs, not if they had it already for a while. This was just a bad faith answer too

I was thinking the same, and he means long term inflation, the price index will go up month over month for a few months and then we will see If demand collapses and prices decline.
You can be technically correct and still mislead people, he could have clarified that he didn’t mean prices

I think they have such a bully mentality that they think if you get invaded is your fault and that instead of being “annoying” trying to fight it just roll over and give the land

It’s easy to negotiate when the defending side just surrenders. Having to actually come up with fair terms, securities for Ukraine to not be invaded again and make Russia return territory must be so so hard and exasperating for Trump who just wants an easy win

I wonder if people ask themselves how this helps the country and the citizens. I can’t see how a president of any country helps their people by being this petty
