Mom passed suddenly on St. Paddy's Day & it hit harder then I could ever anticipate, but I'm finally back to drawing a little. I wanted to prove to myself my art has grown, so I redrew my 1st ever pic of Zak & Vesper from 7 years ago. I'm proud but so upset I can't show it to her. #GoblinBiscuits

Yeah it’s quite surprising there’s no graphics settings, even just for changing brightness. I hope they bring the PS3/360 era TR games out again. Even though I played the original games when they came out, those are the games that really made me a fan

I've had the chance to play a few hours of #TombRaiderRemastered and form some preliminary opinions on it.

So here's my "first impressions" review of this love letter to late 90s gaming!

Same! Graphics wise the games really pretty now. With you it can feel a bit dark, sometimes I switch back to the original graphics but it kinda reminded me of the eerie feeling you got in Shadow with some of those tombs as well. Wish Aspyr had put this much effort into their Star Wars re-releases!

I think they could have kept being able to use a button to grab. The action button only seems to work when you’re literally on top of an interactable. They should have put in some kind of targeting mechanic so you can target what you’re shooting & the camera point in that direction too

I played a bit yesterday and totally with you on the controls, I prefer how Lara moves about on the modern and using the left & right trigger to shoot…but that’s about it. Jumping, trying to shoot, grabbing ledges. Everything else is so bad!

What’s next for MonolithSoft? More Xenoblade? A new Xeno series? Xenogears remake? That fantasy game they teased years ago? Whatever it is, I’m betting we see something from their new game in 2024.
