Its an industrial complex spanning a number of planets thats kind of sentient and kind of not. It exists only to archive all information in the universe. It is lonely yet afraid, and refuses to make direct contact with living beings. It prefers to observe.

I really want to flesh out my machine sona at some point. Its hard to settle on a design or even consistent lore for something so abstract.

My posts about this story will be rather messy and not chronological. But I don't worry about that anymore, because I'm simply having fun with it. This used to be an extremely ambitious story to its own detriment. I do not know how long my fixation on it will last, but I'm enjoying the ride.

Frann, holding a knife, is being held back by an unamused and unperturbed Jobeth. Frann shouts at Ben in Hanzi, "FUCKING IDIOT STOLE MY DAMN LEVERAGE!!! I'M GONNA KILL HIM!!!" Jobeth says, "Chill, chill. You know better." Ben is flinching away from Frann looking scared.

A conversation between Jobeth and Ben happening in standard intergalactic. J: "You good?" B: (nod) J: "Good, good. Wooow. Today was a crazy day, huh? Man, this must be awkward for you, uhhh, not... talking? (In Hanzi: I'm really rusty with my STAN...)" B: "...Yeah?" J: "Hey, that's a start!"

A conversation between Ben, Jobeth, and a stranger in Standard Intergalactic. B: Many phrases inside English, um, weird. Make a wish upon a star." Stranger: "Wish." B: "Eh?" Stranger: "Not winigt, winigch. The word doesn't have a t." B: "But... the verb has..." Stranger: "Yes. But sometimes, our language breaks its rules to make a word look better. You only have to remove the chot for almost all verbs... unless the verb stem ends with a lone "t". We don't like to write lone it's because they look bad. So instead these verb stems end with "ch". It's weird." B: "But I say them, not write them?" Stranger: "I know. It's weird." B: "Less weird than English..." J: "(In English: Damn, dude.) Anyone just gives you free lessons."

First blood. On my revisit of this project, I've been focusing on continuing where I left off with developing two of the major conlangs. One that's more developed, one that had virtually nothing until now. Theyre important to the story so I'm making myself use it. #cosmosis #doodle #scifi #conlang
