Another work day, another coworker calling out when I was only supposed to open meaning I'm forced to stay and close tonight, wasting away practically another 2 hours of my life.

I get that one entirely. Just the other day I was reminiscing on a friend I grew close to that just dipped off the internet one day. Still have their linkedin as we were at the same college, so I know they're still kicking, but I sometimes wonder if they still think about me too.

I think about them all the time. Some I'm still occasionally in touch with, some stay on my mind and I wonder what they're up to now. Everyone leaves a tiny piece of themselves with others no matter where or when they meet, and it's always nice to remember who those pieces came from.

Had some customers come in to buy some stuff. One of them goes "thank you ma'a- I mean, er, sorry about that."
I'm not out at work so I just say it's ok and keep on, but she does it like 2 more times.
Its the small things like that, that make me realize "oh shit I do look good."
