I wanted to make a character that dealt with death, which in gems' cases, would be shattering. Marekanite would be requested to collect shards of a shattered gem. They're a very stoic character, built to resist making emotional connections.

The lineart was not rlly fun to do, but I really wanted more varying line weights so I went through and erased certain parts of the lines throughout and I'm pretty happy with the results.
