It just was a little upsetting. These presenters were essentially giving permission to these educators to go forth and use these programs with their students. 🤦‍♀️ Adult learners need #digcit skills as much as students do.

Now, I am all for #AILiteracy for the littles and using #GenAI within the parameters of a program like Adobe Express Edu (within a district). But to stand in front of room of educators & not do your due diligence as a presenter & mention age requirements for the bulk of AI platforms out there... 2/

Had to leave a session at #SpringCUE yesterday. The presenters ("leaders" in the EdTech community) were advocating using AI with elementary students. 🤦‍♀️ Not AI literacy - actual AI chatbots. It's evident some of these AI advocates are pushing AI w/o reading privacy policies & age requirements. 1/
