It’s nearly finished.
The big question is do I risk beta readers sowing doubts or trust my own tastes.
Ten thousand words rewritten dozens of times, and with a what if - it can all come tumbling down.
Six hours of editing is enough.
I’m tired, it’s 2am, and it’s time for bed.

The ginger is 16.
The calico is almost 12.
I got them both when they were older. The ginger was 9.
The ginger bit me to the point of drawing blood for years, but now he 99.9% gentle. I have always thought he was a feral cat at heart.
Went for a walk yesterday.
Soon this will be lush, warm, and green, and I will be able to ride my bicycle down its paths.
It’s a drive to get to the Erie Canal, but it’s safer than roads, flat, and a few hundred miles long.

The short stories are almost done. The have had dozens of read aloud edits. I want them audio and print ready.
The novel is a bit of a mess. I need to seriously consider cutting out a subplot that I like.
What are you writing?
10-15k stories:
A ghost story about a grandmother. No violence or scares. It’s a cozy paranormal.
A zombie story about a boy who gets separated from his mother on the first day of the outbreak.
Novel
A cozy witch/shaman/ghost story which is a serious mess with good bones to it.
Typing is difficult.
I have to balance them in the crooks of my arms while they hold on by digging their claws into my jacket.
