In 1997, I interviewed them both and sat in on a broadcast. Dr. Drew came across as wise, caring and kind. Adam was a dick, but he was at least friendly off air. Sad to see what happened to them both.

Ross Raihala: The newly revived Chi-Chi’s is all about nostalgia The hottest restaurant in the metro is none other than … Chi-Chi’s in St. Louis Park.

I wrote a column about the comeback of Chi-Chi's. We ate there on my birthday -- a cold Tuesday early evening in the middle of February -- and the place was packed.

Thanks!

They do have a bar, but it's small. I have a friend who went a few weeks ago and ended up waiting for his table at the bar at Crave, which was empty.

My partner goes to NY a few times a year for work, he was there last week, actually. But I always have some conflict where I can't join him.

Whoops, it was 2018, not 2019.

Also, this:

β€œI just want to be able to keep doing what I’m doing, on an increasingly bigger scale. I would love to have my own sketch show and maybe write a play some day. I’m not in any big rush. I’ve got a good little life right now.”

I'm a big fan of Cole and we've been talking about going to NY to see it, but we've never gotten our act together to actually do it.

It's a new national tour that kicks off this fall in Connecticut. No casting announced yet!

Broadway at the Ordway season includes quirky Tony-winning smash β€˜Oh, Mary!’ Comic actor Cole Escola’s spoof follows the lives of Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln.

Pleasantly surprised to see the Oh, Mary! is in the new Ordway season. Super excited to see it!

I interviewed Cole in 2019 to preview their show at the Cedar, which was hilarious. I'll share the link in the comments.
