I love EBTG's dance/electronic stuff, but Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is one of my favorite albums of all time

This was a few days prior. I guess we were making the most of our (unknowingly) fleeting days to attend public events.

I have very distinct memories of this night. First day of March 2020, covid was lurking in the background, but I would have never guessed what would happen two weeks later

Hey, that's a guy I play trivia with talking about how to wash underwear in a hotel room (note: *not* in the coffee maker, you weirdo) on Wait Wait!

Whenever I'm waiting on an important call that I need to be at my laptop for, I go sit on the back porch

Ross Raihala: How Aaron Rupar went from City Pages blogger to professional Trump watcher If you follow presidential politics online, chances are you’re familiar with Forest Lake native Aaron Rupar’s work.

I interviewed Aaron prior to the election:

Pro tip for those following the news. @atrupar.com goes to a concert or sporting event = some serious shit is about to go down. @atrupar.com travels out of state = war declared.

I'll add that all of this could have been avoided had our mail carrier simply rang the doorbell, but whatever.

2/2: Last night -- 7:30 on a Friday night! -- a guy from our local post office followed up with a phone call to make sure everything was OK. Yes, there are plenty of crap people who work for the post office, but there are also plenty of great people willing to go the distance. So, thanks to that guy

1/2: It's a long story, but our mail carrier (who routinely misdelivers mail in our building) mistakenly thought we had moved. I called our local post office on Wednesday and yesterday a week's worth of mail (including belated birthday gifts from Patric's mom & step mom) showed up. Problem solved.

Sewing zippers into the side pockets of the jacket is a fantastic idea!

I'm going to find a tailor to do so once I figure out what patch I want to add to the sleeve. Open to suggestions!
