Shabana Mahmood’s decision to tell every person applying for asylum from Monday that their status is temporary could undermine the refugee convention, the Law Society has said

I've got a me in Denmark (she goes on amazing theatre trips and dinners with her gal pals) and a me in South Africa (much more boring, she just gets car finance updates).

Why can he never resist ad-libbing facile nonsense over the top of every diplomatic communication? Because he is a narcissistic freak.

The earliest St Totteringham’s Day the Premier League has ever seen.
With nine games to go, Tottenham can officially not finish above Arsenal.
We own North London.
Happy St Totteringham’s Day Arsenal fans. ❤️
every time one of these markets dissembles and parses and weasels their way out of paying people on a technicality my heart grows three sizes like the grinch. i love to watch these people get scammed on crypto and nfts and gambling. they deserve it and it's funny and it's not my problem at all

The tax desk would stamp your ticket to show you’d paid before you could check in. They only rolled it into the ticket price after around 1999 from memory.

01.03.2026 14:38 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Fight Club is an interesting one - there are moments when it feels very much like a black-comic version of American Beauty, and a couple of places where it's like a bigger, badder, nominally more adult version of Heathers which I mean entirely as a compliment.
01.03.2026 14:37 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I know some will say Brad Pitt's breakout performance as an actor rather than just a pretty face was in Se7en, or even Twelve Monkeys, but this is the role that convinced me. (The face is still very pretty however).
01.03.2026 14:35 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0So we watched both American Beauty (1999) and Fight Club (1999) as a pre-millennial double-bill of sorts. Both films stand up very well; interestingly, AB feels more like a period piece, FC captures something that I still very much recognise (although some key plot points are longer possible).

Dear @lucympowell.bsky.social,
I have enjoyed our exchange of letters about which of our parties is best placed to stop Reform. Hannah Spencer MP and I trust that you agree that this question has now been resolved once and for all.
Thanks,
Zack Polanski
Just doing some fag-packet maths.
Labour lost 25% of their vote trying to chase Reform.
Say the 6% of Tories went to Reform, putting them on 20. That means 8% came from Labour. So in trying to keep that 8%, they lost another 17% to the Greens.
If this was a business, the CEO would have resigned.
