Can we give radio its due for a moment as well? It's usually satellite radio for me these days though I listened to terrerstrial years after everyone else stopped, and either way it's the joy of not knowing what song will come next.

I feel very similarly about LÖVE's capabilities, though it's not exactly talked about all that much. I was so happy to learn that Balatro was made with it.

Close to where I live there's a railway crossing on a road that gets busy at times and when traffic is bad you'll see people idling on the tracks instead of waiting for the space to cross. Trains come fairly frequently too, I'm shocked disaster hasn't struck yet.

In my limited experience with them I find Gen Z coders to be exceptionally good. They grew up totally immersed in the environments where we have to unlearn a lot of what used to be standard and/or good code.
