Good point, I should look up the more technical definition. I've tried talking about my trauma in a talk therapy context and mostly found it a downer. Game development at least gives me a sense of accomplishment, however misplaced 😅

Is it really a form of healing though? I feel like my experiences make for good fuel for an interactive story, but to be honest thinking about all this stuff might actually be making things worse for me from a mental health perspective. I just feel oddly compelled to keep going.
