Historic manor house sold by crypto-backed charity for under £6m amid closure plans

An historic manor house has been sold by a cryptocurrency-backed charity as part of its plan to “wind down” in the coming years, according to the organisation’s accounts.

Quite apart from Chitty, Morris's contributions were notable: Conflict of Laws, Theobald on Wills, the Rule Against Perpetuities (and probably others too). A very impressive breadth (and depth) of knowledge!

Excellent stuff as always Dan. Does the Act explicitly define 'person' as meaning a human being? On a very quick look I cannot see such a definition - but I suspect I have overlooked it!

It's a magnificent cathedral - even more so when packed full of people for matriculation, graduation, concerts etc. Was very fortunate that my college was directly opposite the building.
