Not really. Pretty sure I’d get tired of hearing, β€œCan you feed me now, can you feed me now, can I eat this, can you feed me now, are you eating that, can you feed me now?”

I’m guessing agate. I collect Victorian era jewelry and agate was extremely popular and looks very much like Orin’s rock. To be sure-here’s a YouTube video describing the best way to verify it’s agate. youtu.be/54NwNmLphGo?...

If he knew anything at all, he’d know 40% have above average intelligence and many corporations seek them out because of their problem-solving abilities and talent to spot patterns.

It’s kind of dumb to ask for eggs anyway. One egg is one egg. One chicken is 200 plus eggs. Be smart. Ask for chickens.

Measles is the leading cause of blindness, especially in children, deficient in vitamin A, around the world. Measles can cause brain swelling, severe diarrhea, ear infections, and pneumonia. If you’re pregnant, it can lead to stillbirth or birth defects. The vaccine is much safer than the disease.

That’s a good thing as it would hurt most of the states NOT responsible for the current situation.

Look it up. It was in the 18.3.1 update. According to Apple - it was to help T-Mobile users connect to areas w/o cell service. If you have a 14 or later, you can check if it’s there. Look for a cell-tower icon.

It’s beyond me why some politicians want to dam up their own revenue streams, and stop the fish from coming. Make it, make sense.

I know, right? All that prime real estate, now hiding under ice and snow, will be the only thing left after oceans expand because of ice melt (which will accelerate global warming).

I suspect they will be very wary in the future. We’ve proven we are not a people of our word, and once that trust is broken, it will be hard to win it back.

The convict transport is documented. Australia became the next destination after 1776, when the US declared its independence from Great Britain, and GB had to find a Plan B.

That is another interpretation. We were successful in the endeavor because we were able to convince one world power to join us in a fight against another. France didn’t start it, they just helped us finish it.

25.02.2025 18:33 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

In fairness-the convicts were shipped by their government. The same govt we fought a revolution against & won. It’s not like they had a choice. And yes-Europe did what Europe has done since cavemen started threwing rocks. Land Grabs. Subjugation. You’d think we’d be better but no-πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί invades πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ & so on

Thank you for your well considered but unnecessary advice. As stated earlier, laws were far more oppressive. Not so different from where we’re headed today with the increasing wealth gap, a ruling oligarchy & a dismantling of social safety nets that might have saved a 7 year old from transportation.

25.02.2025 17:03 β€” πŸ‘ 11    πŸ” 1    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It took the US becoming its own nation to stop the practice. The people shipped here would have eventually found partners and procreated and their descendants still live among us today.

The laws were also far more oppressive.

You can kind of blame Europe for that. They actively shipped their undesirables across the sea, as a way controlling crime in their countries. The last ship of convicts from Great Britain arrived in 1776, bringing the last of the 52,000 convicts shipped to the US.
