I was at a PhD Writing Retreat through my university for the past three days, and I have finished one chapter and nearly finished another.
Over the past three days, I have written 20,055 words.
I am going to the cinema all day tomorrow and doing nothing else.

Trying to clear your inbox before you actually let yourself work on anything you need or want to has given me a glimpse into how the gods would punish my hubris

The proposition that "the left" is hypocritical for having insisted on mask-wearing at the height of the pandemic, as a way to mitigate contagion, while now decrying mask-wearing by regime thugs, as a tactic for terrorizing communities, is maybe just . . . I dunno . . . a *little* tendentious.

Thanks to everyone who danced at the Ceilidh with me! It was my very first one and it was super fun but now my legs are jello and I want to drink a gallon of water 😂

So anyway this is pretty much how I’m feeling

I’m trying to finish up a paper to the final module in my Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice & I’m already bumping into the “oh no I’m going to run out of words” problem 🫠
Especially because I’m writing a full reflection for it & have to make sure I have at least 5 sources (I have more)
