I could write a thesis on why naps are the best thing ever. An epic poem. An ode to stealing moments of the day and giving them to the lord of slumber as an offering of devotion.

I sincerely planned to make ice cream, take a shower and go run errands after work. But now that the ice cream is done this bed feels so comfy… this is why I end up taking naps most days.

I’m making a strawberry ice cream base and it occurs to me that I could just drink this instead of making ice cream with it. Gainers, stop buying ice cream and melting it when you can just do this for faster gratification.

Yeah thankfully I don’t have kids. I work with various county offices a lot though at my job so this type of stuff comes across my desk a lot. I’m just glad that I don’t care enough for it to really impact me.

They gave her a $44k raise this year and required every school to fire one full time and one part time position because of a budget shortfall lol.

The school superintendent where I live is in the news because she makes $36k a month and is getting a body guard who makes $100k a year. And they say working in education doesn’t pay.

Recruiter call went really well. Now he just has to go through what sounds like a really arduous series of tests and interviews.

Thorn has a call with a recruiter for a job today that would drastically improve our financial information. Twitch your whiskers, flick your tails and stomp those paws to send some positive energy our way please. God knows we could use it.
