The art was good and the premise is really interesting. Just wish that we got more into why people are being sent to Hell. It's not super strong on character development but that may be fleshed out in volume 2 which I will eventually get my hands on.

Finished Dracula and really liked it! But man you can tell writers got paid by the word back then. To finish off Horror Booktober I read The Hell Bound by Yeon Sang-Ho and Choi Gyu-Seok.

I finished reading "Bad Cree" by Jessica Johns. I really enjoyed it! It's definitely more of a monster horror than a scary gross out story but the different take on the "don't go out alone" trope really worked.

Now I've started "A God in the Shed" by J-F Dubeau. It's a mystery horror novel and according to the book jacket will supplant True Detective.

It's been years since I've written anything after trying so hard to get some short stories published during my 20s. I figured that I'm crusty enough and have enough self awareness as a 40 year old to take another shot at it.

I'm taking a little deviation from my usual hobbies and started writing again. After reading a fantasy novel that I ended up not liking, I'm writing my own! Hooray for spite!
