we threw our friend a little birthday party yesterday and I made little cutouts of our peak scouts as decor

I think I'm going to try revisiting some old hyperfixations to pinpoint what got me hooked on certain shows art style-wise(think adventure time, owl house, she-ra and tbh steven universe) and try to develop my own style with their influence and guidance

not saying I can't or won't draw stuff more crazy cool complex and detailed, but I'm gonna start letting myself breathe and lay off the pressure I've applied to myself about making mostly art like that because that's why I feel like I've had art block or refuse to draw as much as I used to

drawing more simply brings me joy and I've been beating myself up about it for a long time now because it's not what I feel like people want or what I should be making but

relearning art is for me first and for the public second is something I've struggled with for so long until hopefully right now
