Thank you to the West Suburban-Milwaukee chapter of AAUW @aauw.bsky.social for a great audience yesterday as I gave my talk entitled "Effective Ways to Reduce Prejudice and Create an Inclusive Climate."

Enjoyed a great lab presentation today from Dr. Roberto Abadie in the UW Department of Kinesiology! Dr. Abadie is an expert in medical anthropology, health disparities, and research ethics, and we learned a lot from him.

Had a great time speaking at the UW-Madison Division of Extension Area 19 Annual Meeting. It took place on September 8th in Whitewater. I shared insights on “Social Marketing: Influencing Behaviors for Good” and enjoyed engaging with such a thoughtful and enthusiastic audience!

Surveys show we trust each other less. Is Wisconsin less ‘Midwest nice’? New data from Pew shows that people don’t trust each other as much as they used to, and Wisconsin is falling behind trust levels compared to other parts of the country.

Wisconsin isn’t as trusting as it used to be—and political polarization is a reason why. I spoke with Wisconsin Public Radio about why social trust matters and how we can rebuild it through real connection and respect. Read more: www.wpr.org/news/surveys...
