Duro: I personally think that losing confidence is the end of me. I always try to stay confident โ I think I was able to keep this mentality thanks to the people around me who helped me so much.
22.07.2025 05:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Ruler: we did more than just go 50/50, so I think we did well today. Looking back at all of MSI, me and Duro as a bot lane were looking pretty competitive.
Q: Duro, what was the key to your success at your first international tournament?
Q: Ruler, in the previous conference Gumayusi said he was dominated in the lane phase. What was your preparation, and how do you feel about your performance?
Ruler: Looking back on the matchup, especially the laning phase today, even when we had even matchups (cont)
Ruler: I donโt want to face anyone [at Worlds], because every team is very strong.
Duro: Same as Ruler. Every team is very strong, so I donโt want to face anyone.
Canyon: Same thoughts. This MSI taught me that every team is very strong, and I hope we can prepare well and win.
Chovy: Iโm not excited for a specific matchup that could happen at Worlds, just excited to beat the teams in front of us.
Q from NAmen: Since GEN auto-qualifies to Worlds with this win, what team from a different region are you most looking forward to facing at that tournament?
Kiin: No one really comes to mind right now. I hope we can beat all of the strong teams we face and win Worlds.
Chovy: Last time we fell to T1 at an international tournament was Worlds last year. We did beat them at MSI last year but that doesn't mean much. I feel we still need to get our revenge at Worlds.
Ruler: Similar thought. Beating T1 at Worlds will feel like true revenge.
Chovy: I really value the hard work and preparation we put in throughout this tournament. That experience accumulated and helped us come out on top [in the end].
Q: Chovy, Ruler, how does it feel to finally get your revenge on T1 at international events?
Q: Chovy, this is your second international title โ what does it mean for you to win it (and MVP) against T1?
Chovy: Iโm happy that we won the MSI title and beat T1, but Iโm not trying to find [significant] meaning from this result, because (cont)
Chovy: "We [also beat T1] at MSI last year but that doesn't mean much. I feel we still need to get our revenge at Worlds."

Faker: Iโm sure there are many factors, but I believe that since T1 has a lot of international experience, in comparison to our domestic games, we tend to execute very well on our preparation for that win.
I think thatโs why you see us succeed so much at the international level.
Q from FD news: What made their Pyke pick work today?
Keria: I think GEN was able to execute every comp that they pulled out very well today.
Q: Why does T1 do so well at international tournaments?
Doran: By the middle of the season, I think I was able to adjust quite well, and thatโs why we were able to achieve so much.
I think we were able to achieve many good things, but [after this loss] I am still full of regret.
Q: How hard was it to fill the shoes of Zeus, especially going into your first international tournament with T1?
Doran: As I joined T1, it did actually require some adjustment period, especially in the beginning. (cont)
Q from Ethan Cohen: What do you think about the Game 5 drafts? GENโs draft looked extremely high-execution.
Tom: I think the comp we were going for is about control. If we are able to take space, the enemy isnโt able to jump at us. I think thatโs what we were trying to go for.
Keria (cont): that we werenโt able to execute what we wanted to. My main thought is that starting tomorrow, we have to start preparing for EWC right away.
We just want to do even better against GEN next time we face them โ [which could be] right away.
Faker: Because despite us losing against GEN twice, I believe we are capable of defeating them.
Q from NAmen: Keria: You look the most emotional right now. What are you thinking about? What moment of the game is in your head?
Keria: In-game, I feel the biggest thing is (cont)
Q from TheScore: Faker, what do you feel T1 needs to do to improve and beat GEN in summer or at Worlds?
Faker: So, throughout this MSI, I believe our team has been doing extremely well, and thatโs why this loss is so regretful [and painful] (cont)

Brett: [With every change, we look at], what are the [overall] impacts of this, what can we do to continue to make a better product, if [thatโs the best iteration].
And so I think we'll continue to look at that as we think about better international events for the years to come
Brett (cont): we really wanna give an opportunity for both LTA North and LTA South to show up to MSI, to have their moment, that was important to us.
21.07.2025 17:03 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Brett: So when we looked at LCP and [started] working with the folks over there, it made a lot of sense to end up in this format. I think the fan base has really coalesced around it.
When it comes to looking at decisions that we've made where we said, (cont)
Brett: right decision in China or South Korea and so on. When we make these decisions, we're working really closely with the team on the ground, leaning into their expertise for their fan bases and what's gonna resonate and what's not.

We really don't wanna paint with a broad brush across our global esport in any way โ what works for EMEA is gonna work for EMEA in a way that might not be the right decision for North America, [or] might not be the (cont)
Q from NAmen: Guaranteed slots at international events work very differently for the LCP and LTA. Why was the decision to make guaranteed slots different for both? Do you think it alienates fans of former regions like the PCS and LJL?
Brett: First and foremost, (cont)
