I also brought some more flavorful sauces with me this year, not just painful ones.

A flowery decorated paper plate with two peppermints positioned to look like eyes beneath flowery hair. Generic branding text forms a smile below them. The mints have dollops of an angry, viscous red hot sauce made to look like pupils.

If you put Da Bomb hot sauce on an Altoid, the intense mint and spice cancel each other out nearly completely. It's quite pleasant.

Do people frequently no-show for dental appointments? I've got a cleaning scheduled today, and in the past few days I got 4 emails and 3 texts of varying levels of desperation basically begging me to remember to show up or call if I have to cancel. I replied to the first one. Is this a real issue?

Pet peeve - devices with inscrutable sleep timers. If I leave the room to grab coffee and a snack, this game controller may power down on me if I'm too slow. Meanwhile, I just had a shower and toothbrushing and morning routine, and the dumb thing stayed on the whole time and is crying low battery.

How do you dry off with a towel? Seems like one of those things where half of people do it in a way the other half will find shocking and nonsensical. Is there a "best" way? Does the US military have a field manual about it? I'll bet if anyone's done research, that's where to find it
