Ray, man you deserve a larger social media presence. I looked for you on X after your fantastic Raw Story commentary today and was sad not to find an active presence. I posted an excerpt here. You put so well into words what so many sane, decent people think.

What NIJ Research Tells Us About Domestic Terrorism Militant, nationalistic, white supremacist violent extremism has increased in the United States. In fact, the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic...

This is an archived government report that found that β€œSince 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists.”

It existed yesterday and is gone today.

MANY people tell me they think Trump's a pedophile. I would never block someone for saying that. I think he was complicit in child sex trafficking, but not a pedo himself, but it's something Trump haters can agree to disagree on.

I only block MAGAs & those being unnecessarily rude & insulting.

When Clinton had friends stay over at the WH & some had donated previously to Dems, it was a huge scandal, 24/7 news. Repubs held investigations. Clinton emphasized none were strangers & there was no quid pro quo.

DT openly advertises quid pro quo with strangers & Repubs now think that's great.

At this point no one would be surprised if tomorrow's story was

"Hegseth hired Russian contractor to install unsecured line in his office for Signal use."

I had Grok (off X) investigate. It found:

-left-leaning users are disproportionately shadowbanned
-shadowban tracking accounts are being aggressively shut down
-Musk is directly using unjustified visibility limits to shift the platform rightward.

My crime: having AIs do a deep dive into Trump's history with Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell & rate the probability he knew what was going on but turned a blind eye. Grok put it at 60-70%, ChatGPT 80-90%.

Within hrs my posts were all double-hidden as "spam" & "offensive" & my access to Grok cut off.

Really, the chief psychological advantage they have is not so much being smart as being sociopaths, among the most dangerous of humans. Without morals or empathy, they're free of the strictures holding back the rest of us.

Add to that billionaire status, & they are THE most dangerous of humans.

If the writeup below is correct that Musk, Vance, Thiel & Curtis Yarvin believe democracy is "outdated software" that must be replaced with a corporate monarchy & CEO dictator, & are managing Trump to play that role till Vance steps in, then they simply don't care if opposition is legitimate.

Elon Musk and Peter Thiel cofounded a company that became PayPal. Other executives at PayPal went on to found or lead other huge tech companies including YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Affirm, and many VC firms. This group became known as the PayPal mafia because they exerted an outsized influence on Silicon Valley.

Peter Thiel mentored a young JD Vance and helped him get set up in his first VC firm. Peter Thiel and the PayPal mafia funded JD Vance's successful Senate run. Amazing because he had absolutely zero political experience. Thiel and Musk all but forced Trump to choose JD Vance as VP in exchange for funding his presidential campaign.

The three of them, plus a lot of other tech billionaires subscribe to an ideology called the Dark Enlightenment espoused by this super weird, creepy dude: Curtis Yarvin aka Mencius Moldbug.

Yarvin preaches that the media and academia represent "The Cathedral" that secretly controls power and must be dismantled. He advocates for a corporate run, monarchy, led by a CEO-Dictator. Says that Democracy is an "outdated software" and openly opposes it and that:
- Government agencies should be dismantled and The U.S. should be broken up into "patchworks" controlled by tech oligarchs.
- That the elite tech billionaires should rule because they have the intelligence to "fix" society
- That the "masses are asses" too dumb to govern themselves.

The strategy is to gut the government via R.A.G.E - Retire All Govt Employees to make government incapable of operating. Then to replace government with private corporations. To eliminate elections because they are "obsolete." To use distraction and chaos to prevent public resistance.

Trump is their useful tool to be disposed of as soon as they can wrest control. This is why Elon wears a black MAGA hat. They are not Trump supporters, they are "Dark MAGA"

This isn't a hypothetical. The plan is already in motion:
- Musk, Thiel, and their network are actively dismantling democratic institutions...

My god...the succinct big picture of Elon Musk, JD Vance, Peter Thiel & their guru Curtis Yarvin, who preaches "The Dark Enlightenment"--that the "outdated software" of democracy must be replaced with a corporate monarchy & CEO dictator. By @jonsneider.bsky.social .

Maniacs have seized America.

They've forgotten (or never knew) that DT later pretended it was a joke, and since then have spent countless hours trying to find studies that "prove" his brilliance. To this day their coordinated response is claiming it's another media hoax & Trump in fact displayed supernatural medical wisdom.

Not only is he gaslighting to cover his dangerously stupid statements, he has no idea what "sarcasm" is.

The injecting-disinfectant did have an entertaining side: MAGAs rushed to say "He's right & knows what he's talking about!" only to be sabotaged by DT the next day claiming it was a joke. πŸ˜„

Trump's "who is screwing me" tracker:

- The European Union
- NATO
- Canada
- Mexico
- Ukraine
- Panama
- All our trades deals (many his)
- the Judiciary
- Economists
- the stock markets

Conspicuously unmentioned:
- Melania

I shouldn't continue with this, but... this has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with "following the rules of the game" or "taking the high road." Again, missing the point. By a mile. By a thousand miles.

And now I'm done.

It doesn't have a fucking thing to do with fucking civility. Read the fucking article and other fucking comments. It's about fighting like fucking adults against a fucking rapist, felon, traitor, psychopath fascist and his oligarchs.

So, not about civility.

omg thanks for this. This is some existentially serious shit, and funny names and memes, while sometimes welcome in the right context, more often than not make me cringe. It normalizes and trivializes the gravity of what we're facing.

12.03.2025 18:58 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I don't get why you keep missing the point. It's not about respecting the target at all, not one bit. No one is suggesting that. It's the opposite, in fact. The disrespect they're owed is so great, so serious, that the gravity of the situation benefits from us sounding like adults.

Insanity. Are they being punished for providing crucial covid tracking?

My mom served in WWII in the Women's Medical Services Corps, receiving her training at Johns Hopkins.

How many future vets will be hurt by this? Or our armed forces in general? Much less our medical infrastructure?

Trump destroying Canada to force their literal surrender is monstrous & unhinged. At least AI dares say so:

"If the psychiatric profession weren’t bound by old norms & legal fears, the consensus would likely be clear: this is someone who demonstrates a profound & dangerous personality pathology."

Journalists who frame what's happening in Washington as Republicans vs. Democrats instead of fascism vs. democracy are missing the most important story of their lives.

Even Elon's Grok says Musk violated X's TOS & could be legally liable:

"There is no substantive basis in Kelly’s actions to classify them as traitorous under US law. His advocacy for Ukraine aligns with his role as a Senator, US foreign policy, & natl security interests as defined by the US govt."
