And today I’m going to watch the graduation livestream from my couch and then walk down to congratulate the students and eat a cookie and then go back home! 🎉

This weekend is one of the board meeting times for the college I worked at for 7 years. After being out for almost two years this was the first board meeting I didn’t wake up thinking about it or praying for it either day!

My spiritual formation group! Our prof kind of went rogue I love it and our discussions. But also I haven’t had the needed time to sit with Gerson and so much of the first half was him saying the duh things that I’m not really sure what he’s building to at this point lol.

Bluesky seems like the place to ask this… anyone have a good tool to read/understand Mystical Theology by Jean Gerson?

My classmates and I are on the struggle bus. I’m guessing we are overthinking it but some of the vocab is unfamiliar so that’s likely part of it.

I see it often from recent undergrad graduates between October and March in their first year out. I think it is often a feeling that accompanies major life stage changes or moves.

An elderly lady at the church brought me a plate of baked goods yesterday because “young women need candies to keep them sweet!” This is my new favorite line.

The best part was when our other elderly woman started laughing so hard in response to the whole exchange.

I see this gift in great scholars. A generous, accurate articulation of your interlocutor’s thesis and goals is the foundation for a response that hits home and speaks truth. It’s so satisfying to read.

Took a glorious nap and am seeing an early showing of Wicked tonight to celebrate! 🎉🎉

There are few things that give me more joy than connecting people to beneficial resources! I’m pumped about this one.

Hands down Passions of the Soul by Rowan Williams. His positioning the deadly sins in contrast to the beattitudes in the Sermon on the Mount was so good!
