Please rethink your stance regarding the prohibition on children using social media platforms because practically speaking, it resulted in disproportionate outcomes for children with disabilities.

To be honest, I'm not a resident of the congressional district but is instead a member of @takedemocracyback.org but many people are concerned that a prohibition on children using social media platforms will lead to face and ID checks which transform the digital world into a panopticon.

At 36:30 Kat said that she supports a ban on children using social media although she haven't specify whether she would support widespread privacy intrusions in the form of face and ID checks. You should get Kat to clarify her exact position regarding the social media age verification debacle.

I'd prefer that we fight back against enshittification through political means. Some congressional candidates like @katmabu.bsky.social and @koryamyx.bsky.social might be useful allies to help tackle Big Tech enshittification.

There are strong lock-in effects among many Big Tech platforms which makes it much harder to switch away from these platforms.

Many people are scolding Kat as a "carpetbagger" even though she is the best hope IMO when it comes to addressing Big Tech enshittification.

I saw the video of the forum already and the wording of the question asked is "Would you support federal legislation to restrict social media access for minors?" The wording of the question in the forum alone is too broad to tell whether she really support widespread intrusions of privacy or not.

Thanks! I'm curious as to what many others among the elderly population in the IL-9 congressional district think about the idea. If the idea resonated among them by a lot and Kat adopts it then she can get even more votes from them and become the Democratic primary frontrunner.

What do you think about the idea that there should be a law which deals with the issue of digital legacy and inheritance especially with regards to accounts owned by now-deceased users?

She can win big if she takes a stance against the privacy-intrusive age verification laws which are getting pushed in US and across the world. At the same time she must come up with ways to help improve child safety on Big Tech platforms without resorting to large-scale intrusions of privacy.

I'm not living in the IL-9 congressional district but I'd advise caution on voting anyone who're more inclined to support privacy-intrusive age verification laws compared to Kat.

All I intended to do is to let Kat see all the responses by her constituents so that she can recalibrate some of her campaigning methods if warranted, such as by focusing on issues that other candidates haven't really touched upon including Big Tech enshittification.

To be clear, just to address the misunderstanding that I had posted the link to Kat's Discord server in order to attract downvote brigades, I wish to solemnly state that it was never the intention at all.

Unfortunately it got derailed when someone went into Kat's Discord server and make a screenshot of a thread posted by myself containing a link to the discussion and delibrately misinterpreting it as a downvote brigade attempt.
