def a little annoyed that soundcloud has no like, organization options for my 500 playlists (on spotify i sorted everything into folders by era, genre, memory, season etc. etc.) and also there doesn't seem to be a collaborative playlist option, but i guess that is a v minor inconvenience

finally managing to get off spotify which is one of the great evils ive been reliant on and it was actually very doable!! i just paid like $5 to transfer my whole library onto soundcloud via soundiiz, i would highly recommend to anyone else trying to get off spotify

ok this SLAPS!!!! was gently enjoying most of the movie and then the ending slapped me with what i love!!!! my second fav thing after break ups are freaky toxic couples being extra weird in order to stay together!!! obsessed!!

Yi Yi (2000)
this is really good, kind of difficult to even put how i feel into a succinct number of words. maybe not fully my kind of movie (3 hrs long, slow, naturalistic) but i see the craft and quality. i think i have to rewatch this in a theater.

zootopia 2 (2025)
feels like less of a racial false equivalence than the first, but any sort of animal/human race metaphor is always bad and clunky, even tho i DID cry watching the snakes get displaced. it's 2025 so i guess that means the main characters trauma dump in therapy speak at the end.

happy together (1997)
SOOO good. it feels more grounded in character and plot rather than floating in vibes. up there w in the mood for love for me. really good storytelling, master of show don't tell. i love break up stories so i was giggling during every fight they had LOL loved this so much.
