It has been revealed that the My Little Pony comics will now be published by Boom! Studios!
Boom! Studios recently announced at New York Comic-Con that they have acquired the license for MLP and their upcoming comics will focus primarily on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in 2026.

In her role as the Head Writer of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale for multiple seasons, Gretchen has led teams of writers through both simple and complex narrative arcs, bringing energy, surprise, and character depth to every script. She is currently developing the next iteration of the My Little Pony franchise, actively shaping the future of one of the most iconic and cherished brands in the world. She has also been a key creative voice in the Peppa Pig universe, having written and directed the last two Peppa Pig Cinema Experiences (Peppa Meets the Baby, Peppa Cinema Party) and contributed to the wildly successful series Peppa Pig Tales.
Gretchen Mallorie, the head writer for My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale, has a short section in her LinkedIn bio claiming she's "currently developing the next iteration of the My Little Pony franchise."
It's unknown what the "next iteration" could mean.

My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale season 2 concept art of Sunny's mom, Nova.
Sometime in season 2 we were meant to see more of Nova and what had happened to her. According to this concept art she was an alicorn just like Sunny only with long flowing hair and taller.

Since the episodes never made it to the animatic stage there will only be scripts and concept art for this episode. It is unknown when the script for this episode will be released.

The last is Dinosaw's version of Mini World Magic. Their version resembles Polly Pocket toys a lot closer than Hasbro's MWM. Only Izzy and Pipp are in this line.

There was a G5 panel at Everfree Northwest! Titled "MLP G5: The Lore, the Lies, and the Legacy", it serves to dispel misinformation regarding G5 and to clearly lay out how G5 was created and ended. It was compiled with the help of reliable sources in the fandom.
