An ebulliently joyful boarder collie mix beams at the camera. His name is Finnegan, and he’s a rescue dog adopted in 2021. His fur is black with brownish red highlights on his ear floof, and he has a white chest (affectionately we call this his “ascot”) and little white toes. We love him.

Finally got to see the Aurora for the first time in my area of NY this year. So magical. I would love to see it in NZ, as you have so much less light pollution there. These were taken at the reservoir in Croton on Hudson, NY (suburbs of NYC).

Thanks! Yes, I think that’s my issue - I need to try to ease back in with tiny moments of creativity without feeling the need to create a polished drawing. The projects I’d ideally love to do are super detailed & focus-intensive, but I can’t bring myself to delve in (feels stressful, not refueling).
