I like those specials, but don't love them, as they run a bit long. I think a 7 minute short is the perfect length for The Pink Panther, unless you have a really great story.

Typically, I try to cover a person's entire career. Of course, I focus on the book subject at hand. I also try to ask questions that no one else has asked before.

I interviewed Alison over the phone, not for the book, but for the Underdog DVD set. I met her face to face a couple of years later at an old time radio convention. Both times she was very cordial, gracious and funny. I've never met Stefan.

I spoke with both of them a few times on the phone and via email. I never actually met them face to face. They were nice ladies and wanted to make sure I wasn't spreading misinformation about their father.

I don't really want to interview fictional characters. I like the real ones.
