I play a bunch of JRPGs on a stationary bike. Puzzle games too! I tried playing Armored Core on it but I got too locked in and stopped pedaling lol. You can def do it for slower paced games though

Gave up on Ubuntu, but I run CachyOS (Arch-based) as a daily driver now. I ended up keeping a small Windows partition for playing EA FC 25 and my DAW. I’m sure I could get it all to work, but for now I am content with my setup.

Everything I want/need is on Steam or AUR 🤩

Marvel Tōkon looks amazing. ArcSys alternating between original IP and licensed IP has been successful so far but I am loving seeing stuff like this

An old iOS app I'm fixing up is so broken that if I remove an unused `.h` file from the bridging header, I get DOZENS of cascading errors across the whole project. The entire app relied on (what I thought was) an unused library to override `ViewController` and `UIApplication` 😭

Got Studio One 6.6 working! 🎉 now to figure out wtf the difference between ALSA, JACK, PipeWire and all that other crap is to get the sample rate on my Scarlet Solo from 44.1kHz to 192kHz.

Got the amp sim & interface working, it’s just very high latency 😭

Yo @backloggd.com guy 👋 can you make the app a PWA so that when I click "Add to Home Screen" it makes the app full screen? Just like the bare minimum service worker so iOS does it's thing. I know that making actual mobile apps is on the roadmap, but this is my pet peeve stopping me from using it 😭

But no! I get rejected while so much low effort slop gets approved. I was told I need to work with a dev who has a game. But I’m not going to offer porting services if I’ve never worked with your SDKs??? How can I offer middleware if I don’t have access to a build target??

Like imagine Electron, but for Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox would slap and I already have a proof-of-concept with RPG Maker running on more native-y code. SDL + QuickJS. Ezpz. Ok not really ezpz it’s actually pretty rad, but this is a rant not a technical deep dive.

It’s frustrating how locked down Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are for games. Like there’s so much slop on the game stores and I’m here like “can I make a porting studio. Here’s previous games I’ve made and previous experience working on cross platform tools.”

Marvel Rivals right now is giving me Overwatch 2016 vibes. Definitely was NOT expecting it to be this fun!

The P1P and P1S basically only differ on the enclosure. And the next model up, the X1C has seemingly great features like AI detection for bad prints and Lidar, but it all still prints (mostly) the same stuff.

If you want true modularity though, Prusa is all open source and moddable

I landed on Bambu because it seemed the most beginner friendly. But I’ve heard good things about Prusa too.

The exact model I got was the P1S. You could get a P1P and then get an upgrade kit to P1S
