Many have already disappeared. As a librarian, I’ve seen many films effectively vanish after the festival circuit, or be removed from the streaming market, never released on DVD, and be completely unavailable to faculty, students, & researchers, as libraries are unable to acquire them either.

Suspect arrested after a fire damages a historic Mississippi synagogue. (Has anyone else seen anything about this fire in the news?)

Mississippi’s largest synagogue was set on fire before dawn Saturday. Fire department ruled it arson, and a suspect has been arrested.
It is the same synagogue that the Ku Klux Klan bombed in 1967 because the rabbi supported civil rights. mississippitoday.org/2026/01/10/f...
