Scotland has once again been left as an afterthought and families left to pay the price for Labour Party failure.

Labour promised cheaper energy bills, but instead, they are Β£150 higher than this time last year.

People will go into this winter struggling to heat their homes. In an energy-rich country, that is unacceptable.

Westminster won’t fix this – but with independence, Scotland can.

From next Monday, your rail commute will be cheaper.

We’re scrapping peak rail fares in Scotland for good.

Under the SNP, public ownership of rail means fairer prices – making travel cheaper, greener and easier for everyone.

Great to have First Minister @johnswinney.bsky.social here in Dunfermline today with @sa4dunfermline.bsky.social setting out the @snp.org’s vision for Scotland and listening to members.

With next year’s election upcoming, it’s important we engage with members and put independence at the front.

Only independence can keep Scotland’s NHS safe from privatisation - Clare Haughey MSP β€” Scottish National Party As long as Westminster is in control, Scotland’s NHS will never be fully safe. Only independence can guarantee it remains public and free for all.

Scotland’s NHS was built on fairness and equality, yet Westminster keeps the door open to privatisation.

Only independence can guarantee it stays public, free and protected.

Graphic with a quote from First Minister John Swinney on a yellow background. The quote reads: β€œIndependence is the catalyst that will deliver a better future for us all. It can be a fresh start for all of us – putting us in charge of our own destiny and our immense resources.” At the bottom right, there is a photo of John Swinney smiling and waving in a suit and tie. Westminster doesn’t work for Scotland.

Independence means choosing our own future - using our energy wealth to lower bills, growing our economy, building a fairer nation.

Let’s build that independent Scotland together. Here is how I intend to do that. πŸ‘‡

I spoke to @scotnational.bsky.social about Scotland's fairer approach to social security, my frustration over the inadequacies of the Union & how we could do so much more with the full powers of independence.

This should be at the heart of every debate about Scotland’s future.

We will not cut Scotland's Adult Disability Payment.

The UK Government reforms have yet to be passed at Westminster, so there is still time for them to step back and I would strongly urge them to scrap their harmful proposals.

Do you feel Β£1,400 better off every year since 2014? β€” Scottish National Party In the 2014 independence referendum Westminster politicians said β€œevery Scot will be Β£1,400 better off every year” if people voted β€˜No’. Do you feel Β£1,400 better off every year since 2014?

In 2014, Westminster told Scots they'd be "Β£1,400 better off every year" if Scotland voted No to independence.

This week, analysis shows UK families will be "Β£1,400 a year poorer" by 2030.

Child poverty has fallen in Scotland - whilst rising sharply in the UK.

Absolute child poverty in Scotland fell from 23% to 17% - the lowest figure in 30 years.

SNP Scottish Government policies are working to deliver on our top priority of eradicating child poverty.

Too many commentators/media reports still accepting UKG line that cuts to PIP are about helping people back to work. PIP is a recognition of the additional costs of a disability/long term condition. It is NOT related to being in or out of work.
