I don't have any experience with this one, but it says it's privacy focused.

I use a double layer of paper I save from packages. I think burlap might be a problem if the seed roots grow into the weave. Tearing them out would be hard on them. Paper works great if you minimize handling of the roll. Look at the photo I posted.

It's a method for starting seeds. You lay out a long sheet of paper or plastic, top it with a .5-1 inch layer of potting soil, roll it up, and secure it with twine. Set it on it's short end, carefully sprinkle seeds on to the top, then lightly top with fine soil. 1840farm.com/2025/06/gard...

🌱 The State of the Yakhappy Greenhouse! I'm going rather hog wild on the snail rolls this year since I had great success with it last year. In snails: beets, onions, two types of tomatoes, and today carrots. Some folks use plastic for their rolls, but I prefer paper. The lemon is about to flower.
