I did my first in-person Artisan sale yesterday. I did really well. I sold a lot of my favorites. Of course the butter dishes are popular. I still have 2 more days of the sale.

It’s official. We are at KETCHCON 1. This is not a drill.

Every member of the US house is up for re-election next year. If your rep votes to cut Social Security, Medicare, or any other entitlement that YOU PAID INTO, we vote them out.

Try to use as little as possible. I put it on the rim so it coats the piece. Always soak up the water at the bottom of the piece. If you don't you will get an S crack at the bottom. Which reminds me, always press the bottom to prevent any cracks.

Put your elbow next to your leg to center. This places your arm firmly. Centering is the most important thing you do.
Put water around the sides of the piece when pulling up so it's slicker.
Don't rush it.

The dark clay is really messy and a lot to clean up. However, it's a beautiful clay with really nice glaze results.

I was playing with this bowl. Testing my Terra Sig and making eyes. It's funky but I like it.
