Taking ideas from the traditional Korean story that there were two suns and moons in ancient times, I set up YJH as an envoy of God to destroy one of the moon, which was his lover.

😭😭 NOOOOO IT WAS SO CONVINCING AT THE TIME but now I'm leaning towards it not existing at all and omg I'm so sad... it's not even fanfiction the characters had no names 🙈

- the wife was a former curator/critic who's never complimented or insulted his work
- the collection becomes critically acclaimed and he ruins his reputation publicly criticising them and is labeled a misogynist/jealous

he constantly says shit like 'I sought a partner that would never distract me from my work, so she's the perfect woman'

and starts going mad and secretly painting the mystery hot homewrecker guy at night, but the homophobia hits one day and he sells them off under a female pseudonym

the title was something like 'My Wife's Lover'
or 'My Wife, Her Lover, and I' and it was narrated by a closeted gay artist who paints pretty women and is married to a demure, 'boring' wife and gets obsessed with a photo of a mystery dead guy he finds out she was cheating on him with/dating prior...

fell asleep in the 37 degree heat yesterday and dreamt about reading a very funny Ranpo short story about a comphet married couple but when I woke up and tried to search for it I'm afraid nothing comes up/it doesn't exist and it's possible I hallucinated the entire thing NOOOOOOO 😭(???)
