Okay I'm seeing like 4-ish #Discord alternatives right now: Teamspeak, Root, Matrix, and Stoat. There's also Signal but that seems more like a return to Skype than what people use Discord for. Am I missing any?

anyway i made a patched version of 2xko that doesn't require vanguard for archival reasons, can't connect to servers (obviously) but it also allows modding so there's the potential to reimplement online for when the game inevitably sunsets

The movie sets the scene well enough, but the vibes from having an ACTOR that is ACTING aren't as compatible with the game's original feel.

And then there's the story stuff which is way too spoiler heavy, but I definitely get the impression Markiplier loves the game a lot.

But that's happening while you're in a dying universe at the bottom of an ocean of blood, with a constant reminder every time you look up that your oxygen IS running out and your end IS coming. And the only way you maybe survive is finding weird vaugely lovecraftian shit

Iron Lung the game is a combination of crushing atmosphere, impending dread, and finding weird shit juxtaposed with sort of mundane or clinial actions. The driving of the sub is literally you staring at a bunch of numbers going up and down, and the terminal is very SCP-coded
