The other problem is that Fields of Mistria is structured for you to only do 2 things and waits for you to have a fairly strong grip on 2 things (through levelling up) before moving on. and I am too much of a gamer to listen

The answer to not blackholing in Fields of Mystria is just keep a journal.

So I was consistently convinced I would forget the intricate rotation of time management and rather than keeping it up in the air how I'd manage a task I would just keep going to feel the satisfaction of executing it

The black hole was triggered because this game is an extremely high-intensity rotation of tasks that need to be tightly compressed into short days on an enormous map and 1 day you need excess money to pay for exclusive shops and 1 day you need to be in town at a certain time

I don't know if it's because it's so ungodly ugly and the start of every farming sim game is irritating and difficult (AWL before the fishing rod is literal agony) but I think I like AWL more than FOMT. It feels so aimless and disconnected and the forages are so meagre.
