yah…that was a well needed break. i graduated college, currently enduring a shitty job, and got a puppy. i’m itching to get back to work here. i got vacation next week and the only thing i got planned is writing fics.

play a solo game. bokuto doesn’t know how to sit still well but finds that he can get some energy out by scratching kuroos head. kuroo falls in love with the feeling and it becomes their unsaid, expected thing.

they’re hanging out at kuroos house with kenma. there isn’t enough room on the bed for all 3 so kuroo insists that because they’re the guests they should get the bed and he’ll sit on the floor while they play games.

hc that all the captains daichi meets wants him (lookin at you, kuroo) and daichi is oblivious to all the wanting and flirting, meanwhile suga is struggling to gatekeep his man (they aren't dating)

and “high maintenance prince” and they’re all better.

the team stops worrying after a while and start to laugh at their little fights. their fights, believe it or not, make them stronger together. a duo to be feared by opponents.

then somehow it devolves into their home life “your sets are sloppy just like your laundry” and so on.

every fight it seems like it might be their last one, for good, but then in the locker room sakusa will flick atsumus forehead before leaving an aggressive kiss. a simple “ignorant country boy”

when sakusa and atsumu get into fights at practice, it worries the team. at first it’s just mumbling under breaths, then comments about how “if you were a good setter the ball would be where i can reach it” and “well maybe if ya weren’t such a priss and jumped higher ya would hit it” +

the next chapter is almost done! i had some outline issues and did some trial and error to fix it!
