My latest great find at Trader Joes: Forth Cucumber Gimlet by Brewer Family Provisions of Bend, OR. Nicely balanced and fresh tasting. The carbonation falls off rather quickly over ice (a good thing), or perhaps open and let it dissipate if you prefer less fizz.

I had signed up for the USGS earthquake warning system alerts and it worked—this popped up about 5 seconds before the room began to shake on the UCSD campus.

In every aviation job, training focuses on mitigating human error and a reliance on the other pieces of the flight "puzzle". As the events of this tragedy at DCA unfold, there's a certain kind of grief and helplessness experienced when the training for your puzzle piece never even gets called upon.

Like all new social media apps, there’s gonna be a learning curve, but so far I like what I see (and what I don’t) here. Feels kind of like old school Facebook when we all just posted food porn and poked each other.
