i want to play a big dumb multiplayer shooter but all the big dumb multiplayer shooters are caught on the battle pass esports infinite wealth treadmill that has like a 99% chance of killing them out the gate.

we've learned a valuable lesson here today. before anything else your multiplayer game should be a mod made primarily with assets and ui from half life 2 released and maintained by 3 people at absolute max. if that works you can try spending a zillion pounds on it

like the thing I get watching friends who are into Hunt is this bizarre alternate look at a genre where the game is... the game? where the tension and social play comes from the things contained within a match and not the wholly external act of collecting Stuff.
