This is a book cover of a soon to be self-published documentation of a garden I’ve shared for 21 years. A converted laneway with a winding path and plants on either side.

April is gone. April is the common bird-dropping spider who has shared our garden since April 2024. I noticed the egg-sacs she made before she disappeared were much lighter in colour. I knew something was up. 🥺 and now she’s gone. I have so many questions. #entomology

“Rockpooling around Bunurong” is the title of this A5 publication from the early 1980s. The cover is printed in “kelly” green and mottling paper stock. Belong the title is a simple illustration of a species of seaweed.

From a recent stay in Cape Patterson - a few pages from the publication “Rockpooling around the Bunurong”. I took many snaps of it it because unfortunately it belonged to the house we stayed in. This edition is from 1982. Loved the only colour ink on the cover and the beautiful layout in the guide.
