I saw a really cool version of The Tempest in 2005 with Mark Rylance, Edward Hogg, and Alex Hassell playing all the parts.

People actually think my dog, Cressida, is named after Troilus and Cressida, and I have to point out that even Shakespeare nerds don't study that one, AND she's named after the filmmaker in the Hunger Games. 😅

If I named a pet after a Shakespeare character, they'd be Mercutio or Robin Goodfellow.

I studied A LOT of Shakespeare between high school and my theater minor (which actually had more credit hours than my major because of my college's administrative stuff), so I've read the less popular ones, I've seen 50,000 adaptations of them, and Macbeth and Hamlet are still my favorites.

Macbeth, because it's just a solid plot.

Hamlet is probably my 2nd favorite because my entire 12th grade year was wrapped up in that play (long story). Slings & Arrows is my favorite take on it.

Husband graduated in 06 and says he didn't, either. He grew up in the Northeast, and I grew up in the Southeast.

We had IDs in 9th grade but gave up on having them around our necks after 9th grade.

We did lockdown drills from 9th-12th grade. Graduated high school in 2003. Columbine shocked my school system to its core.
