One theory I entertain regarding why Christians support politicians, obscenely rich men, ideologies, and movements that are almost certainly as destructive to their spiritual health as they are to the wellbeing of their fellow man is that they have simply not been exposed to enough of scripture.

Been using this and it’s very helpful. Getting strategic about spending (and not spending) is a great way to use your voice. Let’s be real, most of those making this world a worse place care about nothing more than their money. Comments on the original post contain other resources to check out. 📌

😆 I feel you. Though I am rarely ever happy with a finale of anything so I tend to forgive. I have been where you are though & it’s true sometimes once being pissed wears off you feel differently. I love them all, but DS9 made me a hardcore Trekkie and Voyager is just my heart.

My friend recently became fascinated by Mt. Everest, the ‘96 disaster specifically. It spread to me. Disaster as a break from disaster.

I wonder if we’re drawn to disasters to help us endure our own. After all, we’re not in the death zone yet, so to speak. Maybe there’s still time for us.
