Not yet I'm afraid. It's one of those macOS improvements I'd like to make.
However I came across a neat video recently where someone sets up a global hotkey for it: youtu.be/nlrhCgWlwEc?...
Thank you!
Good suggestions, and those are things I’d definitely like to do when I have the time. It started life as an iOS app, hence the current behaviour, but I’m hoping to make the macOS version more Mac-like over time.
finally published this visual article on dithering (part 1)!
I had so much fun and learned a lot while making this. not only about dithering, but also about @threejs.org shaders.
as usual, animated with @animejs.com
enjoy!

I’d love to built it into RMF natively, but I don’t think it’s possible today. EventKit doesn’t allow you to add these alarms to reminders, and AlarmKit gets part way there but it won’t stay in sync if you reschedule the reminder later.

Smoother list swiping, and faster app startup (again).
Remind Me Faster 6.2 is available now.

Ah, I’m sorry - it won’t work on Ventura :(. It’s not something I can realistically add support for either.
I’m even keen to drop Sequoia support sooner rather than later so I can rely on some OS26 APIs, which should allow me to make it a fully native Mac app (not catalyst).
Sorry about that!
Remind Me Faster is 10 years old today. 🍰
Thank you so much to those who’ve reached out with kind words over the years. The feedback has motivated me to no end, and is partly why I’ve kept my focus on it.
There are many more updates still to come.
Remind Me Faster 6.1 is available now. This is a quiet release. There are no new features.
I’ve re-written the startup sequence (long overdue) which should reduce the occasional loading spinners. And there are various little areas of UI that have been polished.

Hey - I now have a build with (maybe) improvements to startup time if you’d like to test it out. I still can’t replicate the issue so your feedback would be super helpful! If you’re still interested, DM me your email and I’ll add you.
01.10.2025 11:56 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Sorry about that. I've heard from some others about the startup delay too, though I've not been able to pin down a culprit yet. It's not really something I experience so it's a tricky one. I did make some changes in 6.0 to try to tackle this but apparently it hasn't hit the mark. I'll keep trying!

Ah I see!
So you have the Mac version, thankfully. The App Store categorisation is incorrect.
Regarding the control center option, I’m not sure what else to suggest at the moment — I *think* this is just a Tahoe bug, one that I hope will be fixed soon. :/
Would you mind sending me a screenshot of Remind Me Faster on your Mac? Knowing what the UI looks like will give me a clear idea. Feel free to DM me if you prefer.
Re: Control Center, this requires macOS Tahoe. If you're running Tahoe then give this a go: bsky.app/profile/choj...
Great point about the keyboard! I should look into adding a keyboard toggle for this too. (In addition your your first point)

Appreciate the feedback! I'll certainly consider this.
In the meantime, in case you're unaware, after typing this you can remove the time by tapping the toggle in the bottom right.
But indeed it probably does make more sense for it remove the time automatically for this one.
Also I did just spot a text highlighting bug with those German repeat phrases, which I'll fix shortly...

Thanks for the natural language feedback. "every Sunday" structure isn't supported yet, but hoping to add that at some point. In the meantime, German example structures that should work:
• ... Dienstag 20 Uhr alle 2 Wochen
• ... morgen Monatlich / täglich / wöchentlich
Would love to add a global hotkey too. Not sure yet if that's possible with the catalyst app. I'm sure I'll manage it eventually though, somehow!
19.09.2025 11:48 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0See these screenshots for adding it to menu bar. Note: Tahoe seems to have a bug where it sometimes doesn't appear in the cc options. If so, right click the desktop > 'edit widgets'. Opening the widgets menu sometimes refreshes Control Center options, weirdly enough. Hoping for Tahoe updates soon!

If your the mac window says "Remind Faster" next to the traffic lights then that's still the iPad version. The Mac version has no title there at all, just traffic lights.
Still not sure what's going on. Some people seem to be getting the Mac version, and some get the iPad version 😮💨
Yeah I’m getting the blank icon on the store page too. I have no idea why. Never released a Mac version before so I don’t know if I’ve done something wrong or the Mac App Store is just being weird.
18.09.2025 14:59 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Oh, that doesn’t sound right! Maybe it just needs more time to roll out properly to different regions. Try checking a bit later perhaps.

You can also launch it from macOS Tahoe’s new control center & menu bar.
A note on this — It doesn’t always show in control center right now, which *appears* to be a bug in Tahoe. If you hit this issue, try opening the ‘edit widgets’ menu first (I know, weird, but sometimes it works).
Tab-completion for natural language input and auto-complete lets you quickly set times, dates, lists, and locations without moving your hands from the keyboard.

Remind Me Faster is now available on macOS (Sequoia & Tahoe), with various layout optimisations for Mac and keyboard-first updates for key features.
It’s a catalyst app, and a big step up from running the iOS version on Mac. I’m also aiming to make it feel more Mac-native over time.
Heh, that’s one of the few variations I decided not to support yet because the weekday name can also trigger the time/date logic — it gets much more complex to handle reliably. Hopefully i can get that working in the future!
In the meantime your next best option would be “something saturday weekly”
