2) Final Fantasy VIII
This was the first ever FF I'd ever played and I know it's kind of got the "black sheep" tag of FF games for how different it is... but I actually really liked how the game rewards you for actually *doing things* with your growth. This might be a favorite of the series.

And the game immediately ended after this when the field was declared unplayable by a baseball ump. Hey, I didn't make the rules and I know this as fact.

1) Final Fantasy V (Pixel Remaster)
Started off with another of the pre-PS2 games that I had on my list, and the job system has always appealed to me. This was a fun one and I'm glad I finally stuck through to finish it.

Threaded my Game Clearing progress last year. I'll do the same this year. We got to 18 last year, and we're a little later on the first one compared to last year, but... First one is done, so the thread begins!

Listening to Romo and Brady back to back, it was jarring how one was a football broadcast and the other was a sideshow and I never would have guessed which was which after last year.
